DEADLINE HAS NOW BEEN REACHED We’ll see you at the EGM on Thursday 24 January SALES & FINANCE MANAGER The holder of this role will be responsible for the running and management of the Pure FM ‘B’ account, liaising with the Media Coordinator about purchasing, and opening and maintaining dialogue with local and national businesses regarding possible sponsorships. The holder must also update the committee with the state of Pure FM’s accounts, organise the payments of member deposits, and the financing of Pure FM events (including socials and conferences). The position holder should be able to work as a team member within the committee. In return the position holder will receive training and support from the Union, the opportunity for skill set development and recordable extra-curricular involvement. TRAINING MANAGER As Training Manager you will be responsible for the orientation and training of all members on the use of Studio 1. This will require in-depth knowledge of both the equipment and systems. You will need good time management and organisation skills in order to make sure all members are trained up and have signed their On-Air Agreements. You will maintain a checklist of the members trained and liaise with the Programme Controller to ensure that all members are trained before broadcasting. On request you may also be asked to train members on the OB and PA kits, so will need a working knowledge of these as well. The holder will also be responsable for the maintainance of the training manual.
