News: Film and Photo End of Year Exhibition Posted on May 13, 2012 by Vicki Parker We sent Rachel Wallington along to the opening night of the Film and Photo Societies End of YEar Exhibition. This Tuesday the Bonzo art Gallery on Albert Road played host to the first exhibition to be held by the university’s Film and Photo Society. The gallery opened its doors at seven o’clock Tuesday evening to members of the public so they could get a look at the images on display and with 35 members of the society submitting their work to be displayed, the attendees were not disappointed. The walls were lined with a variety of images each as impressive as the one before. The calibre and quality of the photographs were good and the people that attended agreed with many people complimenting what they saw. The photographs were not the only thing that was noticeable on the night, with the amount of people that turned up for the opening night. The gallery was packed for most of the evening with people walking round viewing the images and getting the opportunity to quiz some of the photographers on their handiwork.
